| | TaKayla’s Jaded Moon of Tantara, HIC, OFA | | | | | | | TaKayla joined our family in February 2004, after the loss of our sweet Rottie girl, “Jade”. What a huge job she had to fill that void that was now missing; and she sure did without missing a single step! TaKayla is our sweet, quiet, calm, funny and very sensitive girl. She prefers to “moo and whine” versus bark when she wants something, especially food. TaKayla’s life revolves around food. She never misses clean up duty after “the packs” bowls are empty, and she still believes that the shiny coating on the bowls will eventually come off and she can eat that as well. Silly girl!
TaKayla remains quiet for the most part and will lay in the background expecting the rest of the pack to let her know if they need her………..however, we never doubt our girl as she is an astounding judge of character and makes it known if she is unsure about someone.
TaKayla is also the babysitter and has the most patience with our boys (Draven & Jersey). As our boys continue to grow and mature, TaKayla steps right into her role of teaching and knowing just how much “assertiveness” she can apply to her “teachings” to help our boys find their place in the pack.
TaKayla is a perfect addition to our pack and has one of the most beautiful, full coats I’ve ever seen. She is like a fluffy teddy bear with a big lion mane. Her facial expressions alone bring us many many laughs. We could not possibly ask anything more from TaKayla, our perfect girl!!!!!
